What are Webhooks?
Think of webhooks as digital messengers. Whenever something happens in Orum—like a rep completing a call and logging a disposition—Orum can send the event and associated metadata instantly to your system of choice.
No waiting. No manual exports. Just seamless, real-time data flowing across your sales stack.
What you can do with Orum Webhooks
With Webhooks, you can:
- Receive a notification when a call disposition is logged and receive the associated metadata.
- Trigger actions in your CRM or internal tools the moment something happens in Orum—log data, update records, launch follow-up workflows.
- Keep your systems in sync automatically, regardless of what CRM or custom tooling you use.
Webhooks are outbound only, meaning they send data from Orum to your systems—but they don’t pull leads or contacts into Orum (yet).
How it works
When a webhook-enabled event occurs in Orum—say, a rep dispositions a call as "Booked Meeting"—Orum automatically sends a JSON payload to an endpoint you specify. This payload includes all relevant metadata about the call: account info, timestamps, disposition, prospect data, and more.
And this is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, we’ll be adding even more data fields to unlock new use cases and deeper insights.
