Getting flagged as spam is one of the easiest ways to kill connect rates. We know that the fewer dials are made from a single number in a row, the less likely it is to get flagged.
Because of that, we've made a change to how number rotation works to help reduce spam flagging:
- The default dials before rotation has been updated from 60 to 20 dials
- The slider range has been tightened to 10–50 (previously 60–100)
What this means for existing settings:
- If your rotation was set anywhere between 60–100, it will automatically be updated to the new default of 20
- If your rotation was already set between 10–50, no changes will be made — you're in a good range and we won't override it.
We're on a mission to kill spam issues at Orum, and we hope to start seeing spam flag rates go down, and connect rates go up!
