A motivation for growth.

I need to remember to go to Costco this weekend to get paper towels and toilet paper for the office. And on Monday, I need to call our insurance people to get that finalized. And I need to do some other administrative stuff. If this isn’t all a motivation for growth, I don’t know what is.

For the past several months, I haven’t been involved in the day-to-day stuff at Loud Dog; both on the management of the office and in actual client management - I’ve left that to others, and I think we’ve suffered because of it. However, I can’t be involved at a super-intensive level all the time; it just won’t work. In order to get out of that, I need to hire some people and in order to hire people, we need to grow the business. We can stay small and ninja-like, just not too small if we’re going to become more than an extension of Josh and Jodi, freelancers.
